She previously served on Because One Matter Board as Vice Chair. Some of her additional volunteer activities include working with the Salvation Army, serving as a regional judge for FBLA, and assisting neighborhood kids with various life skills. Demetrice is an avid reader, a word game enthusiast and special events decorator.

Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Masters in Certified Fraud Examiner. Extensive knowledge of maneuvering through any accounting or payroll software.
