Foster Care Programs

We are committed to touching the life of each child impacted by foster care in the State of Georgia, because each one matters.

Our foster care programs helps to bridge the needs-gap for children in Georgia impacted by foster care. Our goal is to create lasting memories by showing them love and empowering them to flourish into adulthood. Our end-goal is to positively impact the lives of children in Georgia’s foster care system through-out the journey.

Our Foster Care Programs:

  • Wrapped in Love (WIL) closet – The process of moving a child(ren) from their loved ones (the only family they know), and placing them into unfamiliar environments can be very stressful and demoralizing. Most children find themselves with nothing of their own when they are placed into foster care. Through our WIL closet,  foster parents can shop for new and like-new clothing, toiletries, toys, and books  for the children in their care – all  free of charge.  Children entering foster care for the first time are provided with a duffle bag filled with new essential items.
  • Celebrating Milestones– Children often find themselves in the foster care system usually through no fault of their own. The absence of a stable place to call home, leaves children impacted by foster care feeling abandoned, scared, and hopeless. We host a wide variety of events to support the children we serve, such as:
      • Back to School Extravaganza
      • Birthday Recognition
      • Christmas Party
      • Graduation Recognition
      • Scholarships (dorm room or book supplies for college students)
      • Cultural Enrichment and Entertainment (Field Trips and Outings)
      • Home for the Holiday (H4H) – provides Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, Christmas décor, and gifts to young adults aging out of foster care.

Through these events we show them that we care about them — and that they matter.
