WE ARE HERE TO HELP

Our Wrapped in Love closet provides foster, adoptive, and kinship families the opportunity to shop for new or like-new clothing items, toys, and books, all free of charge. We do this, because we believe all children should have what they need at home, school, and play.

Eligible Shoppers

  • Foster parents that are licensed with DFCS or a private agency
  • Parents who have adopted out of the foster system or have court-ordered subsidized guardianship
  • Kinship/Relative placements only through CPS/DFCS or a private agency
  • Current Foster Youth in Transition, ages 18-23, who have a Foster Care Liaison Case Worker

 

What to Bring

A photo ID is required for all Parents. For foster/kinship/adoption, your placement/adoption paperwork is required.

You are eligible to shop every 2-3 months. If you have shopped here before,  please bring your IKEA bag with you.

New Placement

If you have a new placement we can help. Please call us at 470-292-3892 or email WIL@becauseonematters.org, and we will have a new placement duffle bag ready for you within 24-48 business hours.

Please send your placement paperwork to us before pick up.

Available Items

Thanks to some extraordinary individuals and partner organizations, we have:

 

Clothing: all sizes from newborn to size 12 youth. Diapers, & wipes.

 

Socks, underwear, and pajamas (all new). Coats, hats, and gloves. Shoes, Toys, books, and toiletries.

Case Managers

Please share our closet information with all of your foster parents .

Caseworkers are welcome to shop for a foster parent. Your employee ID and information for the child you are shopping for are required. 

Shopping Hours

Shopping is only by appointment (don’t worry, we have many options). Click on the link below and sign up to shop at one of our locations.

Lawrenceville Location:

Tues & Thu 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  

Sat 10:00 – 2:00 p.m.

 

Loganville Location: Popup Shop Only
